We are currently accepting alpha and beta testers for the following T2R Projects:

• Project: S2T - Screenreader to text
  Status: Alpha/Beta testing.
  Description: Screen2Text (S2T) analyzes a live webpage and generates a structured, screen-reader-oriented text transcript to help identify accessibility gaps. By simulating how assistive technologies interpret headings, landmarks, links, images, and form controls, this tool allows institutions to quickly surface structural and semantic issues that may affect users with disabilities. The output is intended to support internal accessibility reviews and remediation workflows aligned with WCAG 2.1 Level AA expectations.
   
  Current status: Alpha testing, meaning the URL render engine is ready for testing. The next phase of the project will tackle documents starting with PDFs, then DOCx, PPTx, etc.

  Ideal Tester(s):
  Individuals familiar with screenreaders and other assistive technologies that can evaluate S2T's text output against actual assistive technology renderings. The goal of S2T is to give authors/remediators a sampling of how a screen reader would view / interpret / convery their selected content.
• Project: DRTS - Document Remediation Tracking System
  Status: Alpha testing.
  Description: Title2Ready's Document Remediation Tracking System (DRTS) provides critical workflow and process structure as well as immediate audit log and accountability documentation to any organization tacking their ADA Title II digital accessibility requirements. Our unique approach tracks remediation from the individual document layer all te way up the organization, providing immediate and detailed status on progress, potential bottlenecks, and overall readiness.
   
  Current status: Alpha testing.
  • Organizational Design
    Creates institutional structure: colleges, departments, courses, sections, faculty,etc.
  • Organizational Assignments
    Assign users as content owners at a per-course or per-section level
  • Initial Document Loading
    Load individual files and assign to course/section
  • Initial Bulk Import (Blackboard)
    Import "course export" zipfiles from Blackboard (Ultra ,Learn 9.x, Blackboard 7/8)
  • Initial Remediation Workflows
    Tracking of a document through a standard workflow (12-point WCAG compliance checks, data onwer signoff, etc.)
  • Initial Import (Canvas)
    Import "course export" zipfiles from Canvas (Volunteers / Samples needed!)
  • Initial Export (Excel) Reports
    Generate "working copies" of remediation to help individuals/remediation teams coordinate their work).
  • Dashboard / Readiness Reports
    General visibility for overall readiness at institution, college, department, and course levels

  Ideal Tester(s):
  Individuals who are currently coordinating (or have recently tried to coordinate) document remediation for ADA Title II (WCAG 2.1 Level AA) within an organization.
  Title2Ready is especially interested in hearing from and working with groups that are focused on the document compliance (as opposed to the web-focused areas).
